In 2023, I designed and built a promotional website for the Institute of Design and Spatial Arts' new constructive drawing course for high school students. As part of a volunteer student team, I created a digital platform that would attract prospective students while providing clear program information to parents.
The institute needed to promote their new preparatory drawing course to a dual audience - creative teenagers and their parents making enrollment decisions. The website had to balance inspiring visuals with practical information about schedules, instructors, payment details, and requirements.
I collaborated with course instructors to feature outstanding student work as the visual centerpiece of the website. With their permission, I used this drawing to demonstrate the technical skill level and artistic quality students achieve in the constructive drawing program.
I structured the site with intuitive navigation that addressed both audiences' needs. Parents could quickly find practical information about schedules, while students could explore inspiring visual content. The responsive design ensured seamless browsing across all devices.
The website included an interactive course schedule for families to find suitable time slots, detailed payment information, the details about required materials and tools, and venue details. I integrated an expression of interest form connected to a CRM system, streamlining the enrollment inquiry process.
The website launched successfully before the spring enrollment period, helping the institute reach their target of 30 students for the inaugural course. The clear information architecture reduced admission inquiries by 40%, as users found answers directly on the site rather than calling the office.
