I created a gift calendar celebrating the evolution of world fashion throughout the 20th century, combining historical research with contemporary graphic design. This project allowed me to explore editorial design while developing my skills in visual hierarchy, color treatment, and information architecture.
I conducted extensive research into each decade's defining fashion moments, curating content about influential designers and cultural context. Each month features a distinctive color scheme and bold typographic treatment of the year, with carefully integrated historical photography and detailed designer profiles that educate while maintaining visual impact.
I developed the calendar with print production in mind, learning about pre-press requirements and print-ready file preparation. This project strengthened my research abilities, editorial design skills, and understanding of how to balance informational content with strong visual storytelling across multiple spreads.
