Diplo app is designed to assist students working on their thesis projects, and optimize the processes. It allows for a more thoughtful and structured approach to thesis writing, offering users help selecting topics, organizing a plan and schedule, and saving references in the required format.
I started working on the project by deeply analyzing the problems students face when writing their thesis works in order to create an application that truly meets their needs. I conducted a survey among my classmates and other students at my university.

Creating a Customer Journey Map helped visualize the stages that a student goes through, identifying problematic points and opportunities to improve the learning process.

Creating a User Personas table allowed to understand the target audience and adapt the functionality of the application to the specific needs of different users.

An analysis of existing similar applications on the market was conducted to determine which features are in demand and which are missing, and how Diplo can stand out.

Before starting the design of the application, I developed the User Flow to build the logic for the app navigation, for the most comfortable user experience.

The Diplo UI Kit includes font styles, icons, color scheme, interactive components, and rules for their use. A pre-created set of components allowed for faster and more productive development.

After 5 months of design, prototyping and testing, I have prepared an interactive prototype in Figma, which you can view via the link at the top of the page.
